Stephanie Abel

Managing Director

Stephanie Abel brings to her clients at R7 a broad range of experience in Commercial Real Estate Management that gives her an edge over the competition.  As Managing Director for R7, Stephanie directs and oversees the firm’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs.  She coordinates all marketing efforts with respect to development of new business and client/public relations.

A native of Huntington Beach, California, Stephanie is the third of four children of a United Airlines Captain and his flight attendant wife. Stephanie had always planned to be a commercial pilot, just like her Dad, but during her first job at a Real Estate firm, she discovered a natural talent for Real Estate management. She earned her private pilot’s license at age 16 and flew for many years, opting out of becoming a commercial pilot when she realized her professional future was on terra firma. Two decades later, Stephanie is flying high in commercial real estate.

Stephanie says she considers Real Estate Management one of the most interesting and exciting fields to work in today because it is always changing, and always presenting a new challenge. Describing commercial real estate management as the perfect place to hone a variety of skills, Stephanie is completely at home in an environment that presents a myriad of unique challenges in any given day.  She calls herself something of a “jack of all trades” because she is intimately involved in multiple aspects of the real estate industry including construction management, financial analysis, communications, and operations.  Stephanie’s ability to quickly assess a situation and determine what is required to reach an outstanding outcome for her clients is one of many qualities that make her a highly regarded real estate professional.

Stephanie says the future of Real Estate is definitely challenging, but within that challenge is opportunity for those who seize the moment.  Her considerable expertise has allowed Stephanie to successfully navigate the recent turbulence in the Real Estate Market.  She skillfully helps her clients manage and protect their assets.  She says clients are clearly seeking a different approach to their management issues.  Where day-to-day asset management used to be sufficient, clients now want more scrutiny, greater expense management, and creative ways of adding value.  The recession has cost property owners tenants, and the name of the game is getting, and keeping buildings full, and tenants happy.  Helping businesses succeed in the retail sector is crucial to maintaining and growing business.  All these are aspects of the job that make Stephanie excited about heading to work each day.

Having spent many years traveling as a child with her parents, Stephanie still loves to travel when she has the time.  She practices yoga daily, loves to cook, and spend time with friends. She and her husband have two sons.
